How much of my donation goes on
administration?
We are proud to send 98% (according to our 2011 audit) of
everything we are given to our programme work. Just 2 pence in
every pound you give goes on administration and fundraising.
Where can I find out about your trustees and financial
information?
Our trustees and financial history are listed on the charity commission
website.
Are you a registered charity?
Yes, our registered charity number is 270659.
Why are you based in London, isn't that more expensive
than other parts of the country?
Our office is in the London City Mission building. It was built on
the grounds of an old church and can only be used for charitable
purposes. For this reason, our rent is lower than you would expect
for central London. Being in London means that our staff are able
to come in from quite a wide area. In addition, we save money by
sharing resources and experience with LCM and Pilgrim Homes (who
also share the building).
