Elderly

Jelyazko walking to the soup kitchenThe elderly are often the first of society to be forgotten. Many are refugees, many are faced constantly with the choice of staying warm or eating. Medicines as basic as aspirin are out of their price range.

Mission Without Borders is working to allievate their plight by serving them with the dignity they deserve. One of the ways we do this is run ’soup kitchens’ within churches with willing volunteers who will show love and tenderness to the elderly.

We also visit those who are unable to leave their homes, delivering meals and offering company and friendship.
