Join ‘Knitting Without Borders’ and you will give a double donation to Mission Without Borders’ work across Eastern Europe. By knitting away, you will:

    Raise money Simply get yourself sponsored for doing what you love to do! All sponsorship money that you donate will support MWB’s programmes bringing help and healing to children, families and elderly.
    Provide MWB with your knitted jumpers, hats, booties and blankets We’ll distribute these among some of the poorest folk, including babies, unable to buy warm clothes against East Europe’s bitter winters.
    All you have to do is:
  1. Invite other knitters to join you. You may already knit with a group, or if not, ask knitting friends if they’d like to join for your sponsored ‘Knitting Without Borders’ – it’s more fun together. You could invite members of other churches to join you for a coffee-morning-style-knit to encourage as much ‘knitting and nattering’ as possible. (If you don’t want to arrange a group, then of course you can still do your sponsored ‘Knitting Without Borders’ on your own.)
  2. Decide where you’ll do your ‘Knitting Without Borders’. You could meet in your church hall, community hall, or even your front room.
  3. Use ‘Knitting Without Borders’ sponsorship form to ask people to support you as you knit away on the day. Alternatively, you may find it’s easier to ask people to donate directly on-line:

  4. Get knitting! Feel free to knit what you like, but if you’d like some ideas for what to knit, have a look at some of these patterns.
