How does Child Sponsorship Work?
The Child Sponsorship scheme links individual sponsors to individual children. However your support is given to a whole Home, not to an individual child. In this way, you benefit not only your sponsored child, but all of the children who live in the Home.
Mission Without Borders does not own or run any Children’s Homes. Instead, we supplement the resources of the Homes by providing material, emotional and spiritual help.
The help we provide includes food, hygiene goods, clothing, medicines, emotional support, developmental education courses and Christian Input classes. Bibles are offered to all children. In addition our other schemes, Christian literature, Summer Camps and Vocational Training, all enhance Child Sponsorship. This is done with the goal of promoting the dignity of the child and encouraging hope for the future.
Through years of service, Mission Without Borders has earned the respect of government officials as well as the staff in the Homes where Sponsorship exists.
