A simple Christmas gift gave the Caldaras food, love and hope. The Caldera family was in great need. They struggled to survive. Possessing nothing, even the dilapidated house where they live is borrowed. They used to go hungry and once went 14 days without eating. Ioan and Christina had given up their baby for adoption. They longed for a proper home for all their children to be together, filled with warmth and food.
