Christian Input

Sharing God's love

We bring children, families and communities to God through a range of evangelistic activities, courses and media. In countries where religion was repressed under communism, Christian Input spreads the Gospel whilst providing projects and activities that have practical, educational, social and emotional benefits. Our projects include:

  • Bible Correspondence Course - an opportunity to deepen understanding of the scripture via remote learning. The Bible Correspondence Course also helps to improve literacy and where participants are in prison or other challenging circumstances, it helps keep their faith strong. Children who participate receive certificates and activity packs as they progress through each stage of the course.
  • Christian theatre - shares Bible stories in a way that is accessible to young children and those with limited education. Performances take place in state institutions, schools, churches and community centres. They are often an important tool in gaining access to hard to reach communities such as the disputed territory of Trans-Dniester in Moldova.
  • 5 days clubs -  fun and Bible study for children living in state institutions.
  • Christian media - in Albania our Christian newspaper Si Jeni has a readership of 30,000, while in Ukraine our Christian radio station broadcasts to more than 3 million listeners.

The Christian Input staff train over 300 volunteers to help run the above projects, and carry out community outreach work to the homeless, older people and those with disabilities. Like all of our activities, individuals choose what aspects of our work they feel will be most beneficial to them. Christian Input is a voluntary programme that we hope helps to provide spiritual nourishment that is complementary to the practical assistance also offered.
