The invasion by Russian forces on Wednesday February 23rd has caused widespread shock and fear and resulted in over 200,000 casualties to date. Families have been torn apart with millions fleeing to the neighbouring countries of Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova. Fighting in the streets of Ukraine's largest cities continues, forcing families to find shelter in basements and tube stations away from the violence.
Mission Without Borders is a Christian charity working in the Ukraine
“In response to the crisis we have launched an Emergency Appeal, seeking funds for thousands of food parcels which will be distributed to vulnerable children and families who are in desperate need this Christmas. A gift of £25 will enable us a provide a parcel filled with food, treats and literature about the true meaning of Christmas to a family or indivdual in need. We are also responding to the needs of those who have fled Ukraine to Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria, serve meals and providing shelter and accomodation to as many people as we can.
